As the room started to shake, Kelan was so afraid that he nearly pissed in his pants as the light was still shining brightly on the pendant, Amon then wore it on his neck and the light started to dim down.

Amon sighed with relief and he was so excited.

"Honey the pendant chose Kelan as its successor", Amon was so happy to the extent that he was shouting on top of his lungs as he called Ana.

Whereas Kelan who just realized what was going on was also amused that the pendant chose him.

Then he walked towards the wall and punched it very hard.

Boom!   CRACK!!!!!

"Aarrrrrrrrrrrrghhh"

Kelan screamed on top of his lungs while rolling on the floor like a baby.

Amon facepalmed while Ana and Jaden giggled.

Kelan had fractured his right hand,  Ana hastily tended to his injuries after laughing at his agony.

"Kelan you have to get hang of that heirloom before you act recklessly, even me your father doesn't know much about the pendant. It might not have accepted you or it still craves to test your potential. "

"Dad I am sorry I was too excited that I wanted to check out my new powers and  I don't feel any difference in my body, I am still weak, sigh...  "

"Kelan like I told you, I don't know much about the heirloom. Even my father couldn't get hang of it till he died sigh..., I would leave you alone for now. Ana let's leave"

"Mmm" Ana responded and they left Kelan's room. Kelan was still trying to grasp the pendant but it was all a failure, in the end, so he went to sleep.

The next morning Kelan suddenly heard a commotion outside of their house as he was still on the bed, he stood up and dragged his feet towards their courtyard.

When he reached the courtyard he was amused by the scene he saw outside. He saw two men spitting and poking his father's nose while his mother was begging on her knees, Kelan walked towards Jaden and grabbed her shoulder...

"Jaden what the fuck is going on here?"

But Jaden ignored him like he didn't exist, Kelan could feel that she was sad '

When the two men were gone, Kelan ran to his father to ask him what caused the commotion.

"Dad, why are those men shouting?"

"I am owing Derius of the Pam family 10 silver coins," Amon replied.

"W..haaatt but I thought you said it was your entire savings "

"Kelan, where would I look for 10 silver coins all of a sudden? I told you that because I don't want you to think about it. Besides, who would even expect that those reptiles would bite me earlier than I thought? It's not even five days since I borrowed the money if I knew that he was targeting my small piece of farmland. Ahh, what to do now?"

Amon laments.

"Darling don't worry I will run around and see how much I can assist you with" Ana uttered.

"Dad,  When I get stronger I will eradicate the Pam family." Kelan stilled his heart.

Kelan started to train very hard, he carved a dummy for himself and a wooden stick.  Occasionally he would spar with Jacob and Tina, which Jacob is his best friend since childhood.

Jacob and Tina had yet to awaken their bloodline as their parents were E rank supe. Apart from those two of his friends, other children would hurl abusive words at Kelan, but Kelan didn't mind their ramblings.
